Abigail's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser

Jan 25, 2024

This year, I’m proud to be leading a group of young females in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, partnering with individuals and businesses to raise as many monetary donations possible for LLS’s mission.

I believe that everyone deserves safe and effective treatment for cancer, one that doesn't poison the bodies of little children, but rather beats their cancer in a way personalized to the child's unique biological functions.

Below is a short video describing the dare to dream project originally known as the children's initiative providing children with a second chance at life without cancer and without the harsh side effects and life long conditions caused by the very cancer treatment itself. I encourage you to take less than 2 minutes out of your day to further expand your knowledge on what LLS's Dare to dream project is, and how you can help us make a better tomorrow for anyone impacted by cancer. One day we will live in a world without cancer, but let's not make that generations from now but today, so that the children of tomorrow will never have to worry about their treatments in a sterile room, but they will run and play with friends while expanding their ever evolving minds learning each and every day.

Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.

I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

  • Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients

  • Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.

  • Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

There are a few ways you can support my fundraising efforts:

  1. Donate via my personal fundraising page

  2. Share my message & fundraising link with your contacts via email or social media

  3. Help me secure a Corporate sponsorship (Sponsorships from at $1,500-100,000+ and come with many recognition and marketing benefits)

  4. Purchase a table for the Gala ($10,000)

Please check this link to see if your company will match your donation to further the impact of your generous donation

Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer!
On Behalf of All Cancer Patients Everywhere, Thank You!
